28mm Napoleonic British brigade - Peninsular War
« on: April 26, 2013, 12:44:03 AM »
Hi chaps
Just finished this brigade. Three battalions - a mix of Perry and Old Glory 1st edition - not in the same units.

It was quite enjoyable painting these guys. Thanks for looking.
Cheers
Brian

Great looking units. The basing is great, love the textures and the depth of the bases...great idea, wish I'd thought of it!

Hi Brian,

Nice paintwork!
I like the OG as they have an animated look. The Perry's have very clean lines.
Good mix. I'm sure they will look great on your table.

Cheers,
Thomas

Interesting basing method, means no clash of muskets when pushed into melee. Might do that myself!

That is what I thought. Those durability of those plastic bayonets scare the crap out of me.

I noticed your comment about the Perry and the OG 1st not being mixed....   Is there a big difference in size between them? I have tons of OG 1st and have thought about adding some Perry - your thoughts would be appreciated!

Really nice Brian !
I too like the bases, particularly the diorama aspect that more space can give.
