The storming party sounds fantastic! Would love to see a unit from this period in really dynamic assault poses!

Me too! I think it's just a great opportunity to expand a period like this one that has so much potential

I hope to launch the Kickstarter next month, I should have the figures cast by next week but I want them to look as good as possible so I'm having them painted by Steve Dean, I think figures painted to the amazing standard Steve produces will set the Kickstarter off really well, a really well painted figure is a thing of joy to all us gamers as you know.
If you'd like to see Steve's paint jobs on my WSS range go to his painting webpage and look up the Ebor figures you will see what I mean and somehow they are even better in the flesh.

cheers Nick

Lovely figures  :-* Unfortunately I'm more into the late 1660's to 1680 period.

Certainly looking forward to next month! As I'm new to this period, can anyone tell me of you can get away with painting up Ebor's Swedish and Russians as Western european troops? (I know they sell these already, just thinking of what I'd like to do with the figures in the kickstarter)

he is a very talented sculptor, and these are wonderful examples of his work. I really like the officer in particular, very dashing!

When it eventually comes to painting these chaps, has anyone got any tips for online sources for the Swedish and Russian uniforms?

Just a quick update on progress, the first casts are with Steve for painting so hopefully it won't be long before the Kickstarter is launched, also I will be releasing a range of high quality fabric flags to accompany the figures, I can't wait to see the painted figures and the flags which will both be of the highest quality and will post pictures as things progress.

cheers Nick
