Am getting back into fantasy gaming at the moment, mostly via Oldhammer (WFB 3rd Edition), a new set at the playtest stage called 'Ride To Ruin' (based on Too Fat Lardies Dux Britanniarum rules) and LoTR, of course.
Here are some High Elves that I painted originally back in the 90s, although I refreshed the colour scheme about 10 years ago for a WFB club campaign (back in the days when I still played 'current' WFB...) The hero and the Elf Queen were painted at the same time. The hero has been converted so he's waving his sword, not leaning on it...
I have just rebased them to avoid the 'green base edge and flock' thing....I know a lot of you love it, but it's not for me...

Hope you like them. I know it's a pretty 'standard' Elf colour scheme with the blue and white, but the purple kinda sets it off a bit, I think...and I used Foundry colours, so it isn't 'standard' GW blue. Banners handpainted as always.

I have some of the original 90s Silver Helms on the painting table now, to be mounted on new Tiranoc chariot horses. I also have a load of spearmen and some archers in the middle of being rebased...
I'll post pics of those when they are done.
I've also just splashed out on EBAY and bought a load of Jes Goodwin's 80's Elf cavalry...can't wait to splash some paint on those!! Real 'Old-skool' Warhammer!
