Russian tanks and infantry Japanese - I have not seen this film, but I saw this video on Youtube. I think this is a Japanese film on the conflict Halkin-Gol, 1939.

Its from a movie called "My Way". Its based off of the travels of Yang Kyoungjong, who was drafted in the Imperial Japanese army.
While in his unit got over ran and he was sent to a Soviet POW camp. He was then pressed into service to fight against the Germans were he is then again captured this time by the Wehrmacht.
The Germans put him into one of there Eastern Battalion and is sent to be part of the forces in Normandy were he is captured a finally time by American Paratroopers.

I guess - the Americans sent him to fight in Korea with the Communists and he was captured again? 

This is a story about a real person or fiction?
