15mm Desert Force
« on: May 18, 2013, 05:12:02 PM »
I finished the first squad of my desert army, with three support bots. I have another squad - without cloaks - and a squad of Power armor to go. I quite like the models, though the faces did confuse me a bit. They all look a bit scrunched up. Maybe something they ate.

understanding is a three-edged sword

Looking good. What was the inspiration for the camo on the bots (I like it)?

Nice little squad.  What make are the figures?

Thank you! The figures are all Ground Zero Games, I forgot which faction (probably Germans however they're called).

I made the camo up as I went along. The bot's topside is a good place to try out weird patterns, and after all, the camo on minis isn't supposed to have a camouflaging effect (or else you don't see the fig's details).

If I remember correctly those are ESU faction from GZG. A more Chinese-Sovjet faction.

Entirely possible! I'm not using them with the original setting anyway :)
