Hmm tough one - love the Hobbitses' earthy tones but the details on those jackets and tattoos...  :-*

Those are the best hobbits ever. Just how I always imagined hobbits to be. God knows why, but I feel I have to get some... Lovely paintwork Patrick.

Great job of the freehand tatoos and insignia Pil. You have a steady hand sir!  :)

Dittol.

Great choice of pallette on the fatfeet with some excellent blending.
Lovely.

Vs.

That freehand is amazing, and the outfits on those fellas are so retro.
Stunning.

A tough one.
It took me three long views at this match-up before I could pick my favourite.

I really liked the brilliant colors from Pil's minis, but the way of Harry's Hero's are too amazing this time. Somewhat inspirational.

This one was once a battle of the best.  Two who would have probably won vs. others than themselves.  Sigh we must pick and while both are beyond my ability, I had to make a decision so went with the amount of detail Pil threw on them.  Can i spend the next 5 paragraphs describing how in awe I am of both?

The Hobbits are from Copplestone Castings but they seem to have disapeared from his Website a couple of years ago. You can still pick them up at shows from various traders if you are lucky.
I agree with Captain Blood - they are exactly how i imagine hobbits aswell. Not like these fat cartoon-like GW hobbits.

Nice detailing in general and color combo on the middle guy Pil!

The Hobbits are indeed from Copplestone...I think you know how I feel about Copplestone... :-*

Earthy and cherub-like are the way i like my halflings.
