Sharp eye, barbaric splendor, but not surprising given your moniker! Yes, she is the Valeria from the 1985 (?) TSR Conan Box set. We use the Conan from that set still as well. The story behind her conversion, she's been a figure for 2 of my main characters over the last 20 years. She got a repaint after #52 so you'll see her sporting "Kvig Melgarson Blue" in episode #53, The Battle of Hellgate Pass. Here's her current get-up:

You know you're old school when your favorite figure for your main character is 30 years old. I would love to know who sculpted the set since my cursory search last night was fruitless on that nugget of information.

Thanks - I love those Conan miniatures and like what you have done with Valeria! I will see if I can turn up an answer on the sculptor - it has me curious now and the style isnt obvious.

Here's a group shot for you, barbaric splendor:

I'm curious to see what you find for a sculptor.

Awesome - Conan and Juma with Valeria!

The best guess for sculptor I could find amongst some very learned minds was David Sutherland - he apparently did most if not all of the TSR sculpts during their short miniatures run.

All those gorgeous scenery and cinematic battles makes me feel nostalgic... makes me think about getting back into fantasy roleplay, the sweet times when we used to run though the woods with half naked girls... :D

I love it when this thread pops up. This thread and DeafNalas Last Hurra thread are just so awesome and for me really shows what this hobby is all about. Creating awesome and amazing worlds. Something we mere mortals can only dream of achieving.
