"... from the New World you’ll see Companies such as the Mounties, the Apache, various Western Gangs, the Rail Barons and their Industrial allies, the Secret Service, a Bokor and his Zombie followers, the Republic of Texas and last, but by no means least, the League of Southern Gentlemen..."

Whew, had me thinking it might be too tempting a few days ago but this is far enough outside my "time zone" of interest I can still stick to my plans.  I know this will sell well given most people's interests.

Gracias,

Glenn

For example, from the New World you’ll see Companies such as the Mounties, the Apache, various Western Gangs, the Rail Barons and their Industrial allies, the Secret Service, a Bokor and his Zombie followers, the Republic of Texas and last, but by no means least, the League of Southern Gentlemen.

...Which means you could easily run a Weird West game, nice.

The Old World ’s rather gothic contribution will include the Templars, the Okhrana, the Cognoscenti, Le Cabinet Noir, the Hellfire Club and the Entourage of the Prince of Wallachia .

Magnificent.

Craig: You bad, bad man!
That is yet another Company that has been added to my list now that I realise I have the figures to form the backbone of that mob as well.

An update for all you Chaps and Ladies.

The extra material is complete and on its way to Schloss Osprey. Four more companies will now be featured in this supplement:
1. The Totenkopf Battalion; the Society of Thule's vicious assault troops led by Oberst Gustav Klimt, a true psychopath.
2. The Texas Rangers; square-jawed American heroes straight out of the Dime novels, Led by Capt. Smith and Sgt Jones..
3. The Federal Republic of Mexico's brutal enforcement company, led by Col Garcia and Cucaracha his sinister Aztec priest.
4. The courageous Californian/Mexican Rebels led by the mysterious El Toro and Isabella. The only hope of the peons and farmers.

This makes for a grand total of twenty-six companies in all, plus all the other new material.

Wow. Really want the rules for texas rangers. Now!  lol
I have figures painted up and ready to go. Also regarding the Totenkopf Battalion. Roughly, how will they differ from Society Of Thule? Really curious.  :D

Even though I don't really want the companies (I like to build from the ground up) I REALLY am getting excited about the new rules.

Having more scenarios, terrain, etc... is worth the price of the book alone. The other stuff (including new mystic abilities) is a massive bonus.

Whereas the Jagers are willing to die for the cause and then rise again, the Totenkopf would rather you died for their cause. They are more heavily armed and armoured than the sharp-shooting Jagers and have an obsession with a particularly nasty weapon...

You know, I am glad I caved and ordered IHMN and the supplement.  Even if it's too late temporally, I May use it for inspiration for California rebe... freedom fighters against Spain in an earlier decade.

November, huh?  Just in time for Christmas.

Gracias,

Glenn

I am just finishing a Mexican Force for IHMN so hope my planning fits in with the supplement.

I have a mix of Soldiers and Aztecs for a combination of h2h and long range capability with some magic thrown in.

In our version the Mexican Federales are pretty much what you would expect. However, any Enforcement Company (essentially a Brute Squad) can take up to two Aztec Priests for mystical support. These dastardly fellows can each sacrifice a soldier before the game and summon an Aztec demon as a result...

But as I keep saying, play it the way that suits you  :D

This is wild! When I first read it, I thought "Apache and Zulu? You've got to be kidding me," but when I thought about it, it's actually a stroke of genius  ;) Will Nick be producing more figs for the supp?

I think that its for Lord Nicholas Northstar to answer  :D

His Africa range is pretty spot of the Dark Continent lists though: http://www.northstarfigures.com/list.php?man=87&page=1
