VBCW at UK Games Expo
« on: May 30, 2013, 09:32:11 AM »
A few of us from the VBCW forum put on a game at the UK Games Expo last weekend, here's a few random pictures from the two days...

We had a 9'x6' table this time but still managed to fill it

BUF cads dressed as nuns sabotaged an Albertine tank but Jonesy soon had them under guard...

Looking good guys. Glad to see things are going well in VBCW (or not depending on your faction!)

I really enjoyed helping out with some of the background and played a whole campaign based on the early days of the Scottish Republic. (I did the battle of the Bridge of Dee game , pictures of which features one of the books and wrote some material for the first sourcebook on Scotland too).

However my games and the chracters were always darker and more vicious than some of the other narrative out there - more like the spanish civil war and less cucumber sandwiches! Carpet bombing a village on Deeside for example!!

We played our campaign through to conclusion and settled down to await the new Republic, but in the way of Wargamers other periods beckoned and interest waned, so I sold off my figures to someone.

Good times though. I've still got my VBCW badge!

VBCW at its best! Am I seeing some armed nuns lurking in the undergrowth? If so where do they come from? Excellent work.

Sorry late in answering questions.
Nuns the only ones in the pictures are the Fifth columnist ones so men dressed as nuns.  These have no visible arms and are the Foundry figure and two others I am unsure of the make.  The boats are one scratch built by me the other is made by Minimi.  There is a third one which has pictures in this section of the forum.  That one is commercial and is off eBay. Nice models
