Shields for some Cannibals?

Hello

I have a lot of the Old Glory Cannibals and would like to finish the models, a lot of them needs shields, but non is included.

Is there any manufacturer who is making shield packs which could be used for Darkest Africa Cannibals.

It doesn't really bother me if it is historical correct and such, I don't think the models are that correct anyway.

Jonas I'm pretty sure if you ring Foundry they could sort you out, failing that Empress do packs of large and small Zulu shields.

Yeah, Foundry used to have the packs, but they are not in the shop anymore.

I wanted to order some from them earlier, but before they changed their postage and prices for Europe.

It is too bad I did not think of it before, since I just made an order with them a couple of weeks ago.

If nothing else comes up I will try and mail them or phone them next time I need to order there.

Gripping Beast do some nice shields in their Rome's Desert Frontier Ancients range, that I think are perfect for such things. However right now I can't get their site to work.  

Anyway, I'm fairly sure they can be ordered separately (when the website is working), and they look like this...

Also Northstar make a good selection in their Northstar Africa range.

I thought they did a pack of them too. The other shield types are sold in packs, so I'd assume if you asked nicely they'd do a pack of cannibal shields.

The shape of the GB shields are also reminiscent of the scary Dayak shields. With the application of greenstuff human hair tufts and a scary tusked paint job they'd look the business...

If everything else fails I have a lot of Zulu shields lying around... as you might be aware none of the Zulu models ever wound up as Zulus.

I don't really like the zulu shields for these cannibals, but maybe I change my mind, who knows.

About Old Glory. They are not available from Old Glory in the UK and the US Old Glory has such terrible shipping rates that I wouldn't never buy from them, ever.

Old Glory US want me to pay $60 in postage. Apparently they will refund if the postage is less. So at one point I tried to email them and ask what actual postage would be and they would not tell me, they said I would have to order and then I would be refunded if the postage was less than $60.

I don't want to risk paying for some expensive insured shipping method or parcel service just to get a few shield.

So no thanks to Old Glory US, they can go f*** themselves.

Hi there. Ive phoned foundry a couple of times now for items not on their website. They still have all the moulds. I normally phone and they  tell me there and then. They send me an invoice for paypal and it usually takes a couple of days.
