motorcyclists
« on: July 01, 2013, 11:35:16 PM »
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any manufacturers of 28mm motorcyclists, dirt bikes or crotch rockets.

I remember GW did some and i have some old Peter Gilder WW 2 german bikesand side cars but anyone else?

Tell me when you find some with bikes in realistic sizes, I've been looking for ages.

So far my best hopes are in Importing a 1:48 Police Helicopter by Hasegawa (includes a Harley) or that Japanese WW II bike with sidecar (also by Hasegawa)

@zizi666 you forgot to include Westwind's Sisterhood bikers in your list.

Mirliton also does some (Old Grenadier models), but again they look to big to my eyes.

PS: Some Hot Wheels Choppers might have the right scale as well, but they are tricky (scaled to fit into the blister, not to fit together...)

Thanks all, I've seen the werewolf one, and could add different riders to the bikes and I'll look at the others.

Sisterhood biker from Westwind´s Roadkill range.

The bikers come with and without  bike in one blister. Different characters are available...  :yahoo:

Will somebody who understands how to ride a motorcycle please sculpt some bikers, on and off their bikes?  When on, their right hand should be on the throttle, not with a gun in it.

I´m totally with you, being a biker myself. Regretfully there are not only bikers which aren´t sculpted acceptable, but there are no bikes either. Each of those I ever found were technically impossible.

It gets even worse. that CHiP has his holster on the left hand side, meaning he's left handed and thus would fire with his left hand.

Could be an Indian, with left-hand throttle. :)
