Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Thanks,
I "borrowed" the idea from Sinewgrab  :D

I'll probably borrow the exploded motor/hood idea, too and create some with removed doors (got another 11 cars to paint up )

Great stuff Mate!  Are those Marx cars hollow?

Yes. Been thinking of cutting some sheet to create a floorplate for them.
Also, and not noticable on this pic, the black roadster has no windows, the black spots between the jambs are open spaces  :-I

Fantastic looking cars. I'm gonna have to borrow your borrowed idea for the cop car for my Marx cars too.

Lovely weathering.

Has anyone started remaking these cars?  Or are they still priced astronomically?
This is my boomstick!

There are some Mexican repops of some of those cars that show up on EBay from time to time with a more reasonable price.  Original vintage cars are still stupid expensive though.

Just found an eBay wanker who wants 499.99 for a set of four Marx cars. If one of these miniatures companies had any brains at all, they'd buy one, cast them, and sell them in resin or as blown styrene shells for 10 quid a pop.

Finished the Pulowski.
Some mistakes were made:
the cutout for the OCCUPIED light is to heigh and leaves no space for the Pulowski logo. (which would be a B***h to create anyway)
the Fallout signs should be on the sides and not next to the door. (should 've had a look at the pics before aplying them)
my warning striping is a bit off... ::)
and ofcourse no box+ventilator where the flexible enters the shelter.
All in all, I dare say I'm content  :D
