i ned help!
soon im the proud oner of a lot of awi americans and hessens(like my self)
the boys are uniformed milita.What i like to know is the uniform colour
i dont want to paint them blue-the hessenboys are blue
so dose anyone can give me  info about the coluore i can use
it would be cool if they actualy fougth against the hessens

And did they cary 1 ore 2 flags

There are some very interesting alternatives, depending on what else you're fielding. Early war there were a lot of Americans wearing brown coats, faced in red, blue, or yellow, depending on which regiment.



You could also potentially do them in captured red coats with yellow facings, as Webb's men famously wore. It would be a bit confusing on the tabletop, but then it was confusing in real life, too.

I'd go with brown.
