Thank you, that's the general idea.  Now, I do spend a lot of money on the hobby, but Ebay prices for oop GW Praetorians (intended for my VSF games and not 40K anyway) are around £ 3.50 (= 4.42 Euro) and since they are mostly offered in (to be repainted...) batches of less than 10 figs, postage is high per figure.  The Warzone plastics go for 27.91 Euro/80 figs (including postage to Belgium), which means 0.44 Euro (if you buy one bag).  For 40 heads I paid 14.14 Euro (incl post.) which means 0.35 Euro per head. 0.44 + 0.35 = 0.79 Euro per figure, a far cry from 4.42 Euro for Praetorians on Ebay...
Anyway, there are other companies offering seperate heads (e.g. Westwind, Anglian or Pig Iron) adding to the variety of armies one can create.  Furthermore: the weapons of the Warzone figures cas easily be replaced by other types (they are more or less multipose figures) creating e.g. artillery crews or cavalry (here mounted on a spare M'figs 25mm Crusade range horse posing as a poney, with the blanket removed from the backpack and glued behind the saddle):



I intend making VSF lancers in the same way by using Artizan heads and replacing the firearm with a lance.

There's great conversion potential in those Warzone minis. You've done some nice conversions there. Keep it up!

I made some similiar experiments, using the old 1990s Warhammer Bretonnian horses. I've buried them somewhere in my attic.
Though the money value can't be beaten I didn't felt comfortable with those Imperial plastic minis. IMHO they looked just wrong for Imperial (in Warzone terms...). However, for VSF conversions they are a very good start and you've created a little masterpiece by a simple head-swap.

BTW, those Bauhaus plastic miniatures ("Ducal Militia") are excellent and far more detailed than their Imperial counterparts. They might be very suitable as VSF Prussians.

No, it's a spare from the Atlantis toy range where it is a container of some sort, mounted horizontally on triangular caterpillar tracks.  I've just placed it vertically & added the stack, gun & gunport.
