High Elf Noble
« on: 20 July 2013, 09:11:57 PM »
As the title says.
After having the apartment refurbished I finally got my painting table back. A third of the previous size but can get something done again. Hopefully.
Finished this one that had been base coated for yours. Quite happy to be honest, after not having done anything for probably eight months.

There seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today...turn two points to port.

WELCOME back to the painting side of life! The time way doesn't seem have hurt your brushwork; the Pointy Eared One looks TERRIFIC...FINELY painted & based! GREAT WORK!

Looks really good. I especially like the axe handle..looks fancy and expensive.

How long did it take you if you don't mind me asking? It would take me weeks to get something to that standard.

Thank you for the kind comments.
I didn't time it but I would say five or six nights with one hour painting time each.
The axe handle is actually the fastest bit - pure white, some Tamiya weathering powder applied, done.

That's pretty quick for that outcome IMO.

I hadn't heard of weathering powder before. Did you use it on the cloak edge too?

Yes, I used for the cloak edges, too.
I prefer to do weathering always with pastel chalks, or in this case the Tamiya stuff.
