Wargods Mycenean Phalanx
« on: July 21, 2013, 10:37:08 AM »
Just before the Olympus-Kickstarter I managed to get 3 Mycenean phalanxes in a shop in Berlin.

While waiting for my Trojans and Amazones to be delivered in October they come in handy for painting my first Olympus units. A smaller unit of swordsmen in on my painting table right now  ;).

The quality of sculpting and casting as well as the number of different poses (12 + command if I remember correctly) made the building of this unit a real pleasure  :).

cheers Thomas
These days it's Wargods and Warhammer Armies Project I am working on !

Lovely.  Those shield designs look awesome too.

Thanks for the flowers  ;) but I have to admit that the color scheme is taken from the Crocodile Games Mycenean desk top.

cheers Thomas

P.S. the swordsmen are nearly finished.

Figures not to my liking, but still can appreciate your paintwork. Very well done, looks quite convincing.
