Thanks all for the comments.
I'm going to leave the tail as is mainly because I really like the shape of plane tails from the Golden Age ie 1930's.

As to comments about the Rocketeer frying his bum, are you certain it was a he?

From a wonderful post about her;

The painting is slowly progressing, mainly because I really don't want to screw this up.

Well here she is painted.
Its just a teaser though. I'll do proper glamor shots when I can.

Thanks for all the comments and kind words.

Also, there is a hint as to my next project in the background. ;)

Excellent! Nice finish!

Going by what's in the background, is your next project to get drunk on champagne? ;)

Ooh, that's spiffy! I was thinking a mostly red paint job (cause, you know, red goes faster), but I really like what you did.

That's a beauty, she looks rather 'pulpy' fast

Very, very nice, and the stripey, colourful paint scheme is perfectly in keeping with the pulp era!

Hello,
It is a fantastic looking model! Very well done, I would like to see how you paint it. This gave me some ideas for some projects of my own. Thanks.
Michael
