Please identify these Scifi pilot types
« on: 05 August 2013, 09:07:39 AM »
I won these guys on Ebay yesterday. they were labeled as 'Space Technicians / Starship Pilots (40) Alien, Colonial Marines'. It was a bit of an impulse buy, but I got them cheap (I think; GBP6,16), so at least it was a satisfying session of retail therapy. :D

However, they don't really have a Colonial Marine look to them. But since I don't know much about the original 25mm Aliens miniatures line, that could either be true or not.

In the end it does not matter too much (unless they turn out to be 15mm of course lol ), as I have a potential use for them. Still; I am curious to know what exactly I've bought... ;)

Anyone have a clue?
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I might be wrong, but weren't these sold by Mega Miniatures?

Definitely Denizen. SF47,49,50 http://www.denizenminiatures.co.uk/
25mm, beautiful sculpts, as are the 'Aliens' mid-tech troopers and the rest of the sci-fi range, very reasonabley priced (sorry), and still available as far as i know.

Jollybob's got them I think. :)

I think these are them on the Denizen site:

+++EDIT+++ Dwartist beat me to the confirmation there...  :D
Then I did the math, and found out I paid 16 pence too much too!  lol Those really are reasonably priced!

Thanks all!  8)

I wouldn't say that. Just slightly less right... lol

And I wasn't completely stiffed on this deal by the way, as I also got the below scifi ganger for a measly GBP 0,10 a few minutes later from the same seller. :D

So with combined postage, it's still not bad. And from what I can see, they are all nice figures...

They're not only that, they're also very much on the small side.

For 25mm... :?

So they will not mix too well with my 28mm collection. :(

Maybe I can give one or two a place in one or the other cockpit, but I might be more likely reflogging them eventually. At least the ganger is the right scale, so this impulse buy has not been a complete loss... ::)

+++EDIT+++ Speakig of that ganger; his tab is completely blank, so does anyone have an idea where he's from? Let's keep the guessing going!  :D

LAF-Power! lol

Thanks Ajsalium; once again, that was fast. All hail the combined miniatures knowledge of LAF; it never fails to disappoint! :D

To be honest, I already thought it had to be found in that corner. But VOID, Urban War, Metropolis, Warzone; they're all so intertwined that it's often difficult (to me at least) to tell one from the other... ::)
