I really have no problem with it since I interpret Alex' ambition with the LPL as promoting "a high output of interesting miniatures painted to a high wargaming standard". In other words this competition differes from Golden Deamon in that quantity and turnover also matters, since for wargamers this is a reality. Layer painting one miniature for a year between competitions is of less practical use for a wargamer.

I may not be able to parttake each round but I can synpathize with the idea.

I have no issues with something staying on for a couple of rounds etc, this is for fun and everyone has different variables in their painting output. I just need to find everyones address and send "Big Harry around" to do some Digit re-alignment ;) to stop so many good entries each week.

These Elvi are the dogs Danglies as are so many of the other entries

My point really was (should have started a new thread I suppose) that since the new forum went on line the number of people who have stopped lurking and voted has almost doubled, up until now the averge total count has been around a 100 or so which is great for everyone
