My Supersystem project
« on: 30 August 2013, 03:44:04 PM »
I changed the title and the info in here. I took the advice. This thread will display my super minis as I convert clix and get cross over minis / Chronoscope figures and make/paint them them.

Depending on scale, there is also Dr. Destiny from the Arkham Asylum Heroclix set. #40

He's an older piece and he wasn't very "meta" in the clix game, so shouldn't be that expensive on the secondary market.

The reason I mention scale is that Prowler figure you selected is HUGE even for clix.
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

thank you that is better. I found one and bought it.

Now to finish the skills. If anyone knows what other skills I can pull from there, thanks. I will search some more tonight in the manual.

That is for 3rd edition.  Links to 2nd edition and 1st edition also.

Edit: a site I think may be helpful for inspiration.

here is my first attempt at making stats. I modeled the card after some others I have seen here. I think I understand the stats enough to make this. Feel free to critique. I will be using the Dr. Destiny as suggested.

You've gotta love Freedom Force--if you haven't had the chance to play it. Do it. It is simply a lot of fun. And the artistry, the whole thing, was just great.

I am looking forward to seeing the conversion. Do you have any of the others in mind for conversions?

I had the old version of the first game, going to download from Steam to play both (as I never played the second).

@mratomek yes I loved both games. Disappointed that there arent any new ones. I plan to do a few more. But tombstone was a favorite. I also plan to do the City of heroes/Villains heroclix. I just plan on basing them though.

@Styx if you get the chance play vs. the 3rd riech, it was cheesy, but fun.

if anyone wants to critique the card i made feel free. I am making rookie and veteran cards. Rookies will be 85 points, Veteran will have all of their abilities.

The card looks good. Did you make it in photoshop? I know you mentioned earlier that you use photoshop. I was thinking of making some cards for the zombie game for each unit as a quick reference dealeo..

anyways I have no idea what game this is, sounds cool though I'll have to check out the links above. Just thought I'd comment on the card art.

why thank you, yes I did in photoshop. I modeled the card after the person that is doing the victorian heroes cards. Mine are still a work in progress.

that is the rules for the super hero game. well worth the price I think. I had it printed up at my local kinkos and have been reading it. A neat way of doing the combat. I like the system. The stats were confusing at first, but the examples the author gives helps ease the confusion, and the rules seem simple now.

If you need some help with the cards let me know.

here is the psd template I used. along with one I found on the net and an XCF for gimp.

Rookie and veteran cards of Tombstone...

I havent started on re-basing and converting heroclix yet. I figured I would try to do a few cards first
