28mm Marshall Murat/Gringo40s preview
« on: 01 September 2013, 10:25:49 AM »
Chaps
thought you might like to see a preview of a green /work in progress
of Murat being the first figure from my New Range..........Cent Jour!
this range will have a slightly different take on the final year of the
Napoleonic Wars..........as my favourite period it will be full of dash
and colour and splendid pieces

Will these fit in with Front Rank or are they more Perry size?

My Italians were pretty much out of things by then so they won't fit in with your plans, but I'd love to see their 1812 senior staff done as nicely as the Murat figure; Beauharnais, Pinot, Lechi, etc. would all be great.  I may well buy Murat for my 1812 games anyway to give the cossacks something to admire!

Sculpting what they're into hasn't stopped the Perrys being a huge success so nor should it you. Awesome figure; suitably splendid for the period. I look forward to more as I really like your sculpting style.

He's lovely. Will he fit in with Perrys?

One thing that the Perrys haven't done is some nice French light cavalry generals. Hint.

If they are a bit larger than Perries they should be good to go with Front Rank? I'll be watching what comes out of this with great interest.
