Thank you guys!  :D

Daniel, the chain mail on your wonderful Hearthguards, metallic or fifty shades of grey?

 ???
I'm always using metal paints. With a anti-shine finishing by army painter.

Here's a picture of my version of the dark age cottage by Stronghold Terrain.
I just added deer antlers by myself.

Cheers,
Daniel

Stunning!

And a lesson in how to paint weathered wood in a wet climate to boot.

Looks wonderful Daniel.
I was very tempted to buy a couple of those Stronghold Dark Ages buildings when I was at the Tactica a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately, they would not have fitted in my hand baggage on the aeroplane  ::)
I'm also slightly sceptical about the teddy bear fur... Yours looks very good. But I've seen a few examples where it doesn't look quite so good...
But this is certainly going to provide a lovely setting for your figures :)

Was a bit sceptical about the fur aswell. But truly it is very easy to get it looking good.
And as I said, lets have a chat at the next Tactica. Unfortunately I didn't know that you were also there this time  :D

I just finished painting the limited viking berserker by Gripping Beast. Was real fun to paint!
Might find his way on the next cinematic pictures of my vikings.

Hope you like him!

Cheers,
Daniel

I have been collecting and painting Dark Age models for a very long time and this entire thread has some the finest painting I have seen.  Excellent work!  Truly inspirational.

Thank you very much! :)

My next update is a more artificial try for photographing a miniature:
an Ulfhednar wolf warrior/ berseker.

You will see the full paint job in later photographs with some bloody battle scenes. :D

Cheers,
Daniel
