Love that last photo, right out of a film  8) 8) 8)

"Do not worry little brother, there are more!"  :D

Also rather like the tattoos and blood stain and the fact you can distinguish between the two  :)

cheers

Thank you James!

I know its kinda sad that you can't recognize the paint job but yes as i said this shot is more for catching up a special mood.
I'm planning a big photo update of my vikings at the end of May. You can expect some battle scenes, raids and of course a viking ship  ;D

Your artistic skills are amazing! I don't know how I missed this thread earlier. Going back to the photos of the Irish, how the heck do you do the chest hair? It really looks good. I'm afraid that all of my "hairy" barbarians are man-scaped. I would love a few tips on getting that effect...

Thanks again guys!

Your artistic skills are amazing! I don't know how I missed this thread earlier. Going back to the photos of the Irish, how the heck do you do the chest hair? It really looks good. I'm afraid that all of my "hairy" barbarians are man-scaped. I would love a few tips on getting that effect...

Just add a little bit of brown or dark grey in your basic flesh tone, mix it with water and paint VERY thin layers on the chest. After a couple of steps you will get the right effect.

UPDATE
I just painted the new norse shield maiden miniature by Stronghold Terrain. Lovely figure what was much fun to paint!
Hope you like her! :)

Cheers,
Daniel
