Holy biscuits! You could knock me over with a feather!

Any shots of the whole thing from a distance, just to show an overall look?

Also, I'd love to know how you did your grass!

I only painted a handfull of the figs on it,  ;) The book Comes out soon with explanations of how the dio was made, with over 200 photos.
The grass was made with Sheets of grass from the  model railway makers Heki-Kittler. 40 x40cm Sheets slightly stretched and pressed into the (still) wet surface of the dio. There´s over 20m² of it on the dio

I've asked for an email notification for when it's available. The quality of the work, the buildings, terrain and figures, not to mention the research that these guys have done is simply astounding and of the very highest quality.

It's inspiring - go take a look.

I got the book yesterday....Hardback, 200 pages, a great read, loads of info, loads of pics (there´s 249 of the dio itsself) and well worth getting hold of,  which you can do so from here; History, Die Welt in Miniaturen.
Apparently there were some Problems with seeing or ordering from  the Website for People outside of Germany but it´s been fixed now.
