Well, I can access both the homepage and the forums without problems, but he apparently plans to shut down the main page due to real-life restraints, a lack of inspiration and the costs involved. He plans to keep the forum running, apparently.
He did, however, do a software migration for the forum, which is apparently the reason that images in postings don't show up. He seems to be working on it, though.
