Ok.  For those of us who have never seen Blake's 7...what are those things they are holding?  Guns?  Disruptors?  I like the figures but am confused by the weapons.  (I know...damn Yankee!  )

Blakes Seven are an elite team of hairdressers that roam the galaxy leaving a trail of perms in their wake.  The Federation are a rival company of barbers that advocate the use of hair gel, which led to a few harsh words between the two, and once even to raised voices.

That is pretty much the entire plot of B7, but now and again like all hairdressers they ride around in spaceships, and blow stuff up.

Ahhhhhhh...the old "sciFi salon" plot.       So I should paint them in pastel colors?  Does the commander's chair have a built-in hair dryer?  Hmmm.

Not a fan I take it?
It was a great Sci-fi series when I was a kid. I tried re-watching it when these figures came out but I don't think it has aged well You can find it on Utube)
The guns are suppose to be a hi-tech type of laser gun compared to the blaster type weapons the baddies use. The main story is about a group of rebels against the evil government. Not much hair dressing involved, sorry if that is your kind of thing
