Shinto sanctuary project
« on: September 28, 2013, 10:15:56 AM »
Konnichi-wa !

I've started a table project for Ronin : a small shinto sanctuary.

The first building I've been working on is the main temple.
The photos are not very good but they give you a good idea of the thing.
It has a removable roof of course.
There are still a few touching up to do.

More to come soon !

Sayonara !

Thank you !
No WIP pics  :? I'll try to do some with the next buildings.

Here is the plan of the sanctuary. I may give it a few changes.

Should look pretty impressive when it is done.

That will be a pretty table lay-out when finished!  This first building is really nice.   :)

Konnichi wa,

After 3 weeks of hard work, here are four new houses for the sanctuary : the novice's barracks, the initiate's barracks, the senior monk's house and the shamusho (temple office).

Love how this project is evolving!
Was the bell done by you, or converted from something else?

Congrats for all the work!
A.

Hello Axtklinge,

It's a chinese bell you can find in any chinese shop. It's a bit big but it does the trick.
Here is the final result !  :D

More to come very soon.  :P

Bye

Beautiful work in this thread; I particularly like the bell tower.
