And here's some rather lamely equipped (for zombie apocalypse survival, anyway) geeks.

Survivors for the moment...

Its fun to see progress from everyone.  This is turning into a fun side project for me and its obviously getting a few people working on models that would otherwise still be in storage, which is cool.

Is there a master list of entrants/entries anywhere?  I dont want to miss anyones contribution.

Im getting a "blog not found" message from Blogger about that link.

I know it's a day or two (or three) late but this is my week two offering. It's a Tengu Bloater

He is still a bit shiny but the ink is still wet. Think he is going to perpetually damp looking.

I'll be posting more zombies on the blog. http://sleepwhenimlead.blogspot.co.uk/

Nice. Think of it as all the puss oozing out of him. I would give his trousers (or what remains of them) a coat of matt varnish though.

Those Zombie Plague survivors look good. Have they all been made into mini's? (And where could I get them?)

I'm early again with this weeks Zomtober update. I seem to have really hit my stride this week. I finished off 9 zombies that were only half-painted from when my previous zombie painting push petered out. (Pics of those are on my blog, they're not "new" paints, so I'm not really counting them for Zomtober.)

These are my third week's Zomtober entry:

Silent but deadly... :D Yes, dreadful pun, but at least now no-one else has to make it...

Despite his years of experience with hiding, the zombies finally discovered where Waldo was. Now, Waldo finds you!

And finally, as timefiller while paint/washes dried, 4 fire extinguishers:

The mime is from Hasslefree, Waldo is converted from a Wargames Factory plastic zombie, and the fire extinguishers are from Black Cat.

That mime has been on my shopping list for ages but I have never got around to buying one.  I really must, it looks great.

Is it weird that the fire extinguishers are probably my favourite?

Yes, yes it is, you weird firefighting paraphernalia fetishist!!  ;) ;D

No, I'm actually really fond of them myself as well. I just really like the notion of having scenery items that do more in game than just hinder LOS or movement. As little "rewards" for attentive and creative players, or ways of advancing the story. Fire blocking your way? Hey, look, extinguishers...  Need to breach a wall? Look for those canisters of propane to shoot...
One of the settings I game in (Warmachine) uses a binary alternative to blackpowder. So I just had to paint two barrels marked with the manufacturer's mark and bands corresponding with the colour of both parts of the compound. If a player should happen to smash these crates together...  :D

Vaing been late last week I though I'd be early this week. Not just zombies but Grey alien zombies. Now if I could find an angle wherethey serve the Great Cthulhu I think I'd have all the horror bases covered.

There are plenty more pictures on my blog http://sleepwhenimlead.blogspot.co.uk/.
