EotD 221 B Baker Street Set in the Metal
« on: 02 October 2013, 05:26:30 PM »
I have some shots of the 221 B Baker Street Set. These shots are bare metal with no cleaning so you can see how they arrive. My camera was acting up to i had to use an Iphone, sorry for the hurried nature of the photos.

This is all 5 figures in the set.

I love this Sherlock.

I love this Watson too, but they don't seem to go together.

I have shots of each figure on my bloghttp://fiendsinwaistcoats.blogspot.com/

Arh thanks, this is one of the sets I ordered, I really like Holmes.  :-*

I know what you mean about Watson. Perhaps he should be sitting reading a newspaper. lol

WOW, many thanks for this.  This is one of the sets that grabbed me into the kickstarter in the first place, so I am very excited to finally see such close ups.

My first impression, THANKFULLY a company that puts a proper pocket and pin into their hands that need attaching.  I cannot stand when they put a tiny little bumb on the arm and dimple on the hand. More often than not I have to cut the bump off and hope I can drill straight.  This looks WELL structured.  Thanks Westie!

I haven't seen Holmes here either. Maybe he's been hunting this from Sumatra to China?

Yeah. Not all of them do, alas. White Rabbit only has a pin on one shoulder join, but not on her left wrist, which could have used one. And one of the guys with the machine guns in the Gentlemen with Guns set require some pinning work from the user as well

Noticed that in some of the recent picks posted. Shame really, from what i see on Sherlock there, that should be the standard for all sculptors when they plan small separated parts.

Oh well, the sculpts are pretty.  Though, since the good doctor was brought up, I do wish he cam e with a doctors medical bag.  Not sure if I will green stuff one on his base or the rippers.
Edit:  Just noticed that the bad doctor has one.

Very nice set. The Holmes is superb.
That said, the Watson figure looks very much like an old Foundry Watson that I have which is, sir, somewhat less than superb. This one is much, much better.
