new BBS Robinson Crusoe Production
« on: 22 May 2008, 12:00:47 PM »
Just heard on the news that the BBC is filming a new production of Robinson Crusoe.  :)

Apparently Sean Bean is linked to the film playing Robinson's father. There was no mention of who will play the lead role and when it will be shown.

Presumably it will be shown on the Beeb first.Lets hope they do the story justice. I still have fond memories of the old black and white TV series that used to be shown during the summer holidays many years ago. I still remember the theme tune, what a  classic. :)
"These creatures do not die like the bee after the first sting, but go on age after age, feeding on the blood of the living"  - Abraham Van Helsing

One of my all-time favorite books, probably because of my own anti-social tendencies. lol  I hope it makes it over here to the states in time. I liked the version with Aiden Quinn done not too long ago also.
