Secret agent stage by stage painting
« on: May 24, 2008, 07:07:44 PM »
I hope that you aren't getting sick of seeing him by now!
I couldn't wait to paint the secret agent figure I received yesterday so I spent some of this afternoon doing a stage by stage. I still need to finish the base as the filler is drying. I will post the finished figure either tonight or tomorrow.

I hope you like him,
Cheers,
Ian.

Loved the sculpt, but your painting of it is really good.  8)
I will definately need one (or more), along with a Russian sidekick Hint Hint  :D

Talented people who sculpt and paint so well depress and inspire me at the same time  :?

Sweet!  I love the step by step photos!  And really like how you did the hair... the grey at the temples is great! :)

Fannnnnnnntastic.  Both the figure and the painting.

I assume it´s "The Man from my father/mother´s brother acronymed"? ;) If so, excellent likeness and superb painting, even though I dislike Robert Vaughn with a passion, almost as much as I cannot stand Jon Voight.

Finally finished basing the figure, so here he is....

Working on a couple more figures for the range now... including a partner for the agent  ;).
Cheers,
Ian.

Gray scale always looks good. Either as a suit like the Secret Agent, or representing black and white or graphic noir stylism.
