DWMG and 7TV

I know that the Doctor Who Miniatures Game and 7TV are made by the same people and are very similar, but how compatible are they?

Specifically, I want to make characters in 7TV and play them in DWMG and modify existing DWMG characters with 7TV.

Yes and no, Morale has a baseline difference between the two.  But characters from Doctor can, and many have been, re-written for 7tv, and 7TVs rules are written with the focus on you designing and point costing your own characters.
