the chasseurs a pied will have a different blue from the lignards, especially the pants - red only for the line infantry

But I can use a lignard for the rest, colors are not a problem.

well, there are other details too, so it depends how historically accurate You want to be.
Apperantly there was a strong desire in the french army to appear distinct for every arm.
While cut of the uniform, cloth, equipment and weapons were the same, the line infantry would wear muzette, blanket roll and bidon one way, while the chasseurs would arrange them reversed, for example.

On the other hand, I haven't seen miniatures to represent this accurately so far....
You might just as well forget this - so, yes - as long as You don't use bleue cerise on them, You are fine

On the different pictures I have seen, the muzette and bidon are in the same side.

Can you give me some pictures please ?

frankly, now that You ask, I have tried to find pictorial evidence and couldn't.
All there was is inconsistency, both for lignards and chasseurs.

I will try to track back the reference where I read it, out of curiosity, but it must be a misunderstanding.

Because the photographs can't lie, so let's forget that.....
