Dinosaurs?

I'm working on a scenario for IHMN revolving around the Professor Challenger stories by Conan Doyle and I'm looking for a source of cheap 28mm dinosaurs. Anyone have any ideas? Plastic would be preferable

Try the Early Learning Centre. They have always stocked a wide range of dinosaurs in a number of scales.

in france you can found pretty nice plastic dinosaurs in toys shops .
so may be in your country ...

If in the UK. Look in Poundland or Poundworld or 99p shops. They sometimes have bags with various Dinosaurs in various scales and colours (garish) But paintable.

The luminous colours may put you off. But if you look at the detail (I advise a close look before purchase, as some bags are really not worth it) they may surprise you.

Toys r us do the Schleich toy dinosaurs that are the right scale and already painted to a pretty good standard.
Either that or try your local museum. The gift shops usually have toy dinosaurs in various sizes.

I forgot. The Works Publisher High st chain also do Dinos from £1 upwards each. Again look at the scale and the detail.

but i have found pretty good looking dinausors in king jouet in france
amazon france have some too .

I was visiting Dollar Tree just an hour ago and saw plenty of dinosaurs that were the right scale for 28mm, selling for $1 each. There were Triceratops, something like a T. rex, stegosaurs, and generic sauropods. I already have a large collection of more expensive models so I didn't pick any up. One suggestion from me is to pick up a couple Safari feathered dinosaur toobs, which have a nice range of raptor-sized dinosaurs. Two toobs will run you about $16 in the US.
