Gridded game with 40mm figures

I'm posting here rather than in the "ancients" bit as this is a little different in the set up.I have been experimenting with games using gridded surfaces - in this case 3 inch squares. The idea is portable games on a smallish set up using simple "old school " rules. Influenced by Joe Morschauser's rules and those of Ross McFarlane and Bob Corderey I have been enjoying stylised gaming that is fast furious and fun,ideal for solo play.

Nice set up and collection of figures you have.
