ATF Dingo / LAPV Enok
« on: November 09, 2013, 09:39:24 AM »
Does anyone know if there's a 1/55 ish version of the ATF Dingo available?

I'm familiar with the 1/72 version by Revell but want (nay, NEED!) one or two as troop carriers for my post apoc project.

Edit = title change to include Enok

Interesting graffiti on the UN version!

I seem to remember that the graffiti caused a bit of a (short lived)stir at the time.

Don't know of any. Hate to say this but the almost completely flat sides make it perfect for a quick-ish conversion/scratchbuild - probably off a 1/43 scale vehicle/wheel bed due to its large size. Or maybe a GAZ 2330 TIGR as an alternative option again at a larger scale because of the Dingo's large size (some available at 1:43 in diecast and just cover up the back window).

Good luck in your search.

We have something very close to this.  The Aussie Bushmaster:

And I have this little guy coming out very, very soon.  A Mercedes Armored SUV.

I come back to the thread to post that I'd had a rethink and am now going for something lighter, an LAPV Enok and what do I find...... !

Have you decided on a price for the Merc?

Should be the same price as our other mercedes kit.

I'm going to do some test castings for myself over the next few weeks, so if you want an all resin one, I can probably pull an extra set out of the test mold.

Cheers Brent

Thanks for the offer of an early cast but I'm not quite there yet.
