Looking forward to seeing pictures of the Austin(s) and more of the range and we roll into the centenary of the war.

Here are some photos of the painted vehicles tin shed gamer sent me this morning. They have turned out to be fanastic sculpts!

Austin Armoured Car (Third Series):

Austin Armoured Car (Model 1918):

The two versions together:

Sopwith Camel:

Both versions of the Austin were used extensively during the Great War and during the 1920s and 1930s. I can't wait to paint one myself.

Scale is 28mm (1/60), and should be on sale soon on the 1st Corps website.

Very nice models superbly painted.

Shame my requests for the Mark V star tank and Mark 1 Gun carriage have fallen on deaf ears  :(

Just a quick update. The next vehicles for release are the Peugeot Armoured cars ,one armed with the Hotchkiss machine gun and one with a 37mm Puteaux. Each vehicle has a two man gun crew.
I'm just waiting for Simon to drop off the castings and some research received at 1st Corps, then I'll paint them up and email pictures to the person who researched them.(first look goes to the researer) who can then post them if they wish.
Thank you to everyone whos responded so far, you've had some great idea's. A few have been ,well if I'm honest Out there!
That said they've all been fun to read and I'm learning something new ever time.So keep the idea's coming.

The Peugeot Armoured Car (both the MG and gun version) have been completed by Mark (tin shed gamer). He's sent me some photos of the MG version, and it's definitely giving me more options for armoured car battles for WWI, interwar and VBCW gaming.
