This is going to be a great set! Lon had the Command at Fall-In. The Russian command pack includes an Orthodox priest with top hat and long overcoat. I meant to pick some up. Why didn't I?

Obviously, it was the will of Allah.

Isn't that how things work around here, according to our new doctrine?

I believe we attribute the siren call of miniatures to God and his ineffable will. I do have an order going into Brigade soon-ish, so this oversight will be corrected.

Oh, also: Someone asked about an armored train. This was met with a knowing smile.

edit: Oh look, pics:

OMG, OMG, OMG, I need money. Lots of money.

Romanian, 25 years old, exchanges kidney for miniatures.
Also, 500ml of blood / miniature.

God wills it. But more important, I do!

Great.  Just great.  I just placed orders for some Copplestone British HMG teams, some Brigade Merchant Crewman, Tropical U-Boat Crewmen (which were mercifully backordered) and prepared a shopping list for Chinese soldiers and to Spanish Civil War factions, including a Panzer and a T26.  I didn't have plans for Red and White factions until after the new year, but these ones are so nice, there's no way I pass them up.

I know what I'll do.  I'll modify my Copplestone order to include a few of his wonderful Red Army.  Yes.  What's $60 or $70 extra on the original $30 order.  Budgets are meant to be broken.  As a contractor, I'm no stranger to gross cost overruns.  That way, I'll have some of the great Copplestone piece to paint while I'm waiting for Brigade to finish their line.

Lucky I've been collecting a large number of Germans, British, ANZACs, Sikhs, French, US Marines, Turks and Asien Korps to oppose the Russians or each other. As I've over a 1000 Brigade Games figures painted I'm wondering how many Russians I'm going to need? I think the only figures I've that I can't use are my KAR.

Lon and Mike have indeed tapped into a worthwhile period that will see many happy and smiling faces.

Best wishes,

The Storm in the East line should be really neat; Lon is serious, the more figures purchased the bigger a line will get.
The first release had two packs, there are at least four now, the latest are assault troops (smg armed) with Adrian helmets.

I picked up some of the German Mountain Jagers at Historicon and recently there was at least one more if not two packs added for the Jagers. Also picked up some Sihks, and now there is a HMG pack available to purchase as well. This could start to get expensive.
