Rommel's Greif color
« on: 20 November 2013, 09:12:20 AM »
I bought the Perry's model of the 'Greif' Command Car (sdfkz 250). And I need some info about the Vallejo colors for painting it.

Hello,

Folks may provide suitable painting suggestions, but I do have a wip Pz1 which I'm still working on and hopefully provide you with some ideas.

By the way I've the Grief too from the Perry brothers an it's very nice.

Going from memory I started with the first coat by applying a Vallejo beige brown or something like that. I then dry brushed all over Vallejo desert yellow followed by liberal amounts of Vallejo Iraqi sand with the desert yellow. I'm only at this point as there is still loads to do.

The photo shows the colour more of the former colour and not the latter colour after dry-brushing.

I hope I may have provided some thoughts.

Cheers,

Helen
Best wishes,
Helen
