Hi guys I've taken some photos of my buildings wip and put them on photobucket but I'm having trouble getting them into my post . I'm following the instructions from another post on the subject, but I must be missing something? I believe I'm to hit the image button type the address of the photo and then hit the image button again, if that's right I must be getting the address wrong, I'm using the codes bellow the P.bucket images do I use the html code the img code or both? or am I completely off track thanks in advance

Please post a link to one of your photobucket photos. Without IMG or anything, just the link.

I'm not sure how to do that I've got the link to my album I'm not sure how to add the individual photos to the link,I'm really computor illiterate

in photobucket under your picture the links are listed. click in the box titled img and you should get a pop up that says "copied" This is the same as using ctrl c or copy from the edit menu. Return here and just use the paste function ( ctrl v) and the link should be done.

Perhaps the title could be changed to something like "Help with posting photos to LAF" or similar?

"Help with photos" is a pretty generic title...

Well, posting an image link to an image on facebook didn't work for me...

Edit: finally, with the help of Doug em4, I learned how to post images on LAF. Whew! Now I can start contributing eye candy.

Looks like photo bucket overnight have changed their terms and conditions, and will no longer host photos for free. Yes they are looking for cash.
Any one know a better hosting site, as I've only been using photo bucket for a couple of months but the amount of adverts that came up was unbelievable.

Yep. I feel very much conned by this sudden change.

I have years of pictures on Photobucket and it looks like I will have to reupload and fix links for everything.

The past six months adds have been ever increasing on photobucket to a point where it looks like a webpage designed by Homer Simpson. And now they want money!

I have been suggested to use Imgur. I will go and check that out. I have uploaded my last picture to Photobucket that is for sure.
