There's no way I'm going to be able to finish another entry, with Christmas preparations taking up most of the weekends atm, so I'll leave it at that and go paint a couple of pulp minis until the next painting challenge/club begins...

Please folks, read the - tiny - rules for this show here on page 1: only one entry a day! It's not too complicated, isn't it? I've just deleted one entry out of this reason.
Thanks, pardners ...

Great stuff!  I'm going with the little lady to the OK Corral in Tombstone on the 6th!

Thanks!

I have to do something about the sheen in his left eye, though. I do the iris/pupilla part with a 0.1 permanent marker, and sometimes the ink stays a little shiny... like in this occation. Must dot in some black paint on top  :?

The 'metal' on the barrels is REALLY good, as it looks natural from several angles!

Ah, now I'm really glad you noticed. I kind of thought ahead as to which angles he would be best photographed from and put the light in accordingly. If I took the shot from the wrong angle he'd have two light streaks showing at once, which might look a bit odd!

Great painting, but I can't help but feel that the figure looks a bit feeble. Maybe I am used to Wild Bill as portrayed by Keith Carradine. :)

Nice job on Wild Bill. I painted mine a couple years ago for the LPL.  Actually, most of core Wild West collection is done and up here or elsewhere, it's why I've been offering Chinese, FFL, and Peons for the most part.

No. 75

Just another Perry cavalry convert, this one with a carbine.  This'll be the last Old West guy I paint for a while (unless I happen upon an indian somewhere in my bits...)

Nice job on Wild Bill.

Thanks, pardners!  :)

I haven't seen Keith Carradine in the part of WB - is it a film or a series?

He brilliantly plays Wild Bill in the TV Series Deadwood . You've done a great paint job on him.

Thanks! Twice.

I have seen at least season 1 of Deadwood (also going to paint the Schwaerengen form the same set), but don't recall Wild Bill... hmmm...

EDIT:
This wasn't meant to express any doubt that he was there, just that either my mind is clouded, or the character didn't appear until after they stopped sending Deadwood on Danish television - and that I should probably revisit the series.

Sorry if I caused any bad feelings, it was not intentional, and I only realized a couple of moments ago that the above comment could be interpreted negatively (funny how the mind works while one is painting).

Loving the latest entries, Wild Bill is particularly nice (mine is half finished and frankly not looking quite as good!) as is Bristly Ben Johnson and the Blackfoot Indian. Keep 'em coming pardners...
