Those are BRILLIANT, INSPIRING pieces. For moi who spent my boyhood in the 50s watching old films from the 30s & 40s, black & white is the way I picture all those great actors both on the screen & in real life...probably something I ingested/inhaled in the 60s. That aside, VERY WELL DONE!

I was still watching B&W in the seventies, my old man was too tight to get a colour TV  ::)

Brilliant stuff, is it difficult to do?  8)

I think it's easier. But it's also a nice exercise in layering and using contrasting values without having to consider a varied color palette.

These are even better that I remembered them.
Beautiful work.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

The paint or the figures?
The paint set isn't available just yet (though, each individual color is.)
The figures are from Copplestone Castings' gangsters range: http://www.copplestonecastings.co.uk/range.php?range=GAN

... And here are some of my Zombicide walkers. I think I'll be doing all the zombies in B&W (despite all my survivors being in color.)

Those look great!  :-*

I once heard that somebody ran a game (WW2 IIRC) where everything was in B&W. It was meant to be a movie set so there was a film crew invloved and IIRC the heroes were in colour. Can't remember if I saw it in one of the magazines or whether a friend told me about it.
