Adventurers
« on: 01 December 2013, 07:57:16 PM »
It's been a while since I last posted anything but I've finally got some stuff to show. More adventurer types, mostly from Otherworld but there is a Hasslefree model in there and a cmon one too. All commission stuff to go with all the other Otherworld models I've painted over the last year or so.

Group shot.

More pics on my blog and website.

Looks so good you almost hate to send them into some dark, dank and smelly dungeon!  Very nice.   :-*

I'm still waiting for the second shipment... No girls have arrived so far. But then again, I almost lost interest in the Otherworld adventurers. By the time the first Group of them arrived I lost my drive.

Yours look awesome. Really cool. Would you agree that the girls look better than the men? Not in your picture, I was referring to the blank models.

I've not seen or painted any of the female characters yet so I'm a bit in the dark on that one. I guess it depends who the sculptor is. (The two lassies here aren't OW models, one's Hasslefree and the other is from the dreaded cmon).

Thanks for the kind comments everyone.  :)

I would like to toot my own horn a little here though. The pack donkey with the swirly Norman shield design is a conversion. The client sent a plain animal and three bits of baggage (shield, chest and a backpack) and asked if I could cobble it all together. I made a saddle blanket and belt out of lead sheet, stuck the bits on the donkey's back and added greenstuff ropes and three pouches to hide a few gaps. Admittedly not the most complex of conversions but for someone who doesn't do that kind of thing much if at all, I rather surprised myself and I'm pretty chuffed with the end result. There are some photo's of the WIP on my blog. There, 'tooting' complete.  lol
