New Kevin Adams orc releases from Foundry
« on: December 03, 2013, 04:01:24 PM »
Foundry have put some unreleased Kevin Adams orcs up onto ebay - http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2013/12/03/81683/

These are the ID's though only one of them has anything on at the moment. The auctions for the other ID just ended and haven't yet been relisted.

Thanks for the link, nice to see some of them starting to trickle out.  Its odd that they have so many different selling accounts though.  Why not just have one account for everything?

It's because ebay restrict new selling accounts to no more than 10 items until a certain amount have been sold. Once that's reached the ID's will be merged into one.

Thanks for posting.

That's quite interesting. I've heard that Foundry plans to release the fantasy range as single miniatures in the next year. That's what Marcus Ansell told at the Crisis show in Antwerp.
Maybe a marketing thing to get a better picture of what they can charge for them (so don't bit too much  lol).

It's nice to see them back though I miss the great little orclings that had come together with them in the past like the little executioner orcling that was part of Zagerth blister. For me as a collector I really want to get the complete pack.

Hopefully we will see the dwarfes back on sale too.

Cheers

I have some of those figures. Quite a few, I suspect. I got lots off a Foundry painter who [I think] was sometimes reinbused with bare metal.

If you like to sell them just send me a PM please.

I'm under the impression that at least some of them haven't previously been released though I could be wrong.

I think it's more to see whether they sell at all. I heard a rumour that the dwarves are next in line for a possible re-release after the orcs.

One day Foundry will make it easy to buy from them, and lay out what they actually have very clearly on a nice and easy-to-use website that doesn't require you to buy a whole collection to get decent value. One day.

I think I got some of those and more when I bought a bargain horde from them ages ago...

Hmmm... but Foundry already have an account selling fantasy. Why not sell the Orcs there?

Doesn't eBay offer free listings from time to time? Maybe this is an attempt to cash in on that?

Umm...
Plenty of those have been released before!
Also, why are they up for "auction"? Why not just sell them from their website like a normal company? o_o

I think only saving grace is no postage whilst £5 on their website. I aso guess they are keeping the Kev Adams theme to draw in punters
