Normandy 1944 - A Bolt Action Campaign Day Review 5th Nov

Chaps & Chapesses

Here's a link to the review of the day along with some (very) bad pics. It would seem that the flashing battery symbol on my camera has something to do with power and as such I should really charge the damn thing up. Therefore the pics are taken with my very average camera phone.

As we expected from such a fine bunch of gamers the day was both great fun and played in the best of spirits. There were many tense moments and some rather suspect ones (Tim's suspicious pink die!). Huge thank you's to all those who attended and especially those that brought scenery along to make the games cinematic and full of character.

Let the heckling begin!

Cheers chaps!

I'm going to grovel to the other attendees and see if we've anymore pics to share, the terrain did look great on the day. Mainly due to the generosity of the travelling gamers and also we spent some of the clubs hard earned to ensure that we had the basics (hedges, trees and the odd bunker!)

We've another planned for early next year - Fall of Berlin seems to be the consensus. There's also a North Africa themed day on Feb over in Manchester that promises to be fun (i'm frantically painting up a mechanised infantry zug as we speak).
