I am inspired Bullshott !

Just spent about £200 on figures and vehicles to give my VBCW project a kick start - I love the variety of units you are painting up

They turned out really well Dave. As the other as have said, nice colour selection, it pulls them together as a group.

Does one of them look like David Cameron?  Or is it my imagination? :o

Re: Bullshott's VBCW - Painting Mojo Has Returned

It's been a couple of years since I last worked on any VBCW, but my painting mojo has returned.

Watch this space for:

The Dorset Clubmen (my existing Men in Tweed plus some additions)

Artillery support (or at leas the nearest they could make) for the Schoolboys

Wimborne Militia (local defence volunteers)

... and lots more beside :)

As promised, here are the first finished figures from my return to VBCW.

Firstly, some armed country folk (please excuse the poor quality picture, but the light was terrible):

Although these could be used for any faction with a change of command figures, thet will initially be used for the Dorset Clubmen - the aggressively neutral populace of the Dorset villages and country towns. Concept based on the clubmen of the English Civil War - they will defend their livestock, fuel and vehicles from any faction seeking to take them.

Command group with runner:

The complete group:

More of these soonish, but first I am working on some opposition for them.

Who makes the young running boy!?

Shame about the light.
Maybe you could redo the pictures next time you take some photos.
