Pulp and other figs I have painted
« on: 27 December 2013, 06:17:47 AM »
New to this awesome site and want to share some of the things I have painted as time goes on. This is my first attempt at downloading a picture. This is my men in black team for hunting down aliens in our midst. I am trying out a very simple plain black and gray base. Some friends of mine mount all their figs on black bases. Let me know what you all think

Amazing!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Ahahahaha! Brilliant!

I'm a fan of any game involving trigger-happy backwoods rednecks. If they're shooting at flying saucers, so much the better.

A still is certainly on my list of things to build.

I assume you are refering to the still. I used a couple of copper pipe couplers I found at the hardware store. The pipes are copper wire and the base is made of wood and stone hot-glued on. The barrel was in the bits box. I googled hillbilly still for reference pictures so its fairly accurate.

The saucer was made out of a plastic planter base (The largest part) a part from a sidewalk lamp and the bottom off a soda bottle. glued together and spray-painted silver. I set it on a plastic drinking cup so it will hover. I am thinking of getting a transparent green one (If I can find one) and hanging a cow model inside for laughs.

There is a rule set out there called "It came from behind the still" I believe but I have not yet obtained a copy.

I like the translucent coloured cup idea quite a bit - that'd work perfectly as a stand.

Well,

John you finally posted on a forum!  Yay!

BTW, the game referred to here is the one I bought last year.

We'll have to try and get together to play them with Norm.

Cheers.
