Hi guys.

Cross of Iron is one of my favourite war movies. SHQ has a Cptain Stransky mini in their catalogue, so I jumped on the occasion and painted it. Though really ugly at first glance, it is actually easy to paint.

Painting is good, but the head looks much too big for the body

Sorry, no reflection on your painting, but that really is not a great figure

'Wargames-figure-squat' taken to an extreme. Looks like a hobbit!

(I agree Cross of Iron is a great movie though

Great painting, shame about the mini, SHQ are usually wonderful sculpts, though I am talking about 20mm rather than 25mm like your squat chappie
