Action Counters - 3 sheets now available
« on: January 16, 2014, 08:43:04 PM »
UPDATE
I've completed the three sheets of action chits, Buff & Blue-Grey backgrounds and a slightly different Green set for native troops ...   :)
I'll attach them here so you don't get RSI scrolling down too much ...  :D
Enjoy, and let me know if I missed anything ....
----------------

As I'm training a mildly attention-deficit pre-teen in the fine art of wargaming I've found it necessary to produce a bunch of chits to manage figure status.
Actually I've found them useful for a post 50 mildly dementia-ridden adult too ....

Here's a snapshot of them, let me know if you'd like the .pdf versions (in 3 different background colours no less) and I'll post them here.

I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people ... I'm just saying lets remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out ...

Those are nice.

I ordered some Litko ones for THW gaming.

I think that if you don't fill the table with counters it saves a lot of book-keeping.  Dirtside 2 games got quite close to the line in some opinions and I and hoping 5150 Battalion Commander won't require the same amount of tokens/counters as DS 2 did.

Gracias,

Glenn

Superb idea. Count me in and roll out that PDF. As a retired very ordinary gentleman I find that I keep getting accused of using my favourite characters twice per round!  As if........

Good to hear these might be of use.
A set of buff chits attached (if all goes well), I intend (this weekend maybe) to add a set with green & a set with blue/grey backgrounds so forces don't get mixed up on the table.
I've included a dotted grid to make cutting easier - let me know if that doesn't work ....

Enjoy!

Saturday morning and your PDF appears as requested. Many, many thanks.
Looks like this afternoon is printing on card, cutting and sealing.
They will definitely be in use this evening. Keep up your great work.

Thanks for you efforts Maldred, these look excellent! A very useful addition to the game methinks.

In an unrelated note, are you the Maldred who overthrew the Kingdom of Elvannon and then spent 900 years in a necromantic trance on an island guarded by a giant turtle?

Nope, I was his autobiographer before his untimely demise  >:D

He is indeed that fabled author and was much feted by his fellow gamers for achieving publication. it only took me thirty years to equal him!

Think about that statement for a moment please...

Well, about thirty years late, nice one... the story of Maldred the Mighty has been well incorporated into the background of my D&D campaign over a very long period (in slightly mangled form, of course, but it's mostly still there!)
