Maybe I'm walking in on this after something has been deleted or edited, or maybe I'm not aware of a backstory.  However, hoping to clarify what I perceive as the motivation behind Hammershield's picture, I don't THINK Hammersheild is being aggressive toward you.  It is not the case that you have asked for images and he is saying with his picture that he won't show you any.  Rather, he is joining you in lamenting websites that don't have images of their minis.

Hammershield is definately having a go at sites with no images, not you.

It's quite a new beef of mine. I appreciate that some manufacturers have extensive ranges and that photographing all their models would be very time consuming and all the other excuses.... but to have not one single photo of the range in question?

Given the diversity in quality of figures out there, I'm not buying anything 'sight unseen', so no pic, no sale.

Thank you, Jim. I won't do it either. Years ago I bought some unseen stuff and it was terrible. Too big hats, too lang arms, no details....

I know it's stupid, but I really like to do it (to buy "sight unseen") just for the excitement "bonus" : when you recieve your package, it's a complete surprise, you don't know at all what you will find inside !
Maybe I spent too much time on the web, but I' m sometimes boring to see always the same figures (very well) painted.
That's why I bought the complete Dixon Dahomey set, for exemple, because I was a bit frustrated not to find a pic of it, and it was really exciting to discover the HLBS armored cars I never saw.

Yeah we need to put up another photo of the giant gorilla for Battle Honors!  The the amount of
28mm figures they have... and to not have any photographs of their models is just bad business.
I have not purchased any figures from them because of this... have been tempted though but there
really is not reason to not have photographs... a digital camera can be had used for alot less than I spend
on lead each month and they are pretty simple to use... even a poor photograph is better than nothing! o_o

Please check the "Sticky" on WW1 miniatures! You will start to see some photos of BH!  8)
Best wishes,
Helen
